AK - Trainee Technician

Role & Responsibilities:

1.    Production & Assembly :

Assist in assembly of tractor components like engine, transmission, axle, hydraulics, and body parts as per drawings and work instructions. Perform fitting, grinding, drilling, welding and fastening operations on the shop floor.

2.    Machining & Fabrication:

Operate basic machines like lathe, drilling, grinding, welding set under supervisor guidance. Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders.

3.    Quality & Safety:

Ensure work is done as per quality standards and SOPs. Identify defects and report to team lead/quality inspectorFollow all safety norms, PPE usage and 5S practices in the shop floor.

4.    Maintenance Support:

Assist maintenance team in preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and tools. Keep work area clean and tools in proper condition.

Key Skills Required:

Technical: Basic knowledge of tractor parts, hand tools, measuring instruments like vernier caliper, micrometer

Reading: Ability to read basic technical drawings and instructions.

Attitude: Willingness to learn, good discipline, team player, physically fit for shop floor work.
