Roles & Responsibilities: HCM Functional Consultant

• Design, build and configure applications to meet the business process and application requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Workday security framework, business process configuration 
• Experience with configuration and testing of Workday HCM modules 
• Knowledge on Reports and Calculation fields - Security Configuration
• Responsible for client deliverables of low-medium complexity work along with quality check, learning and understanding the client's requirements
• Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it for implementation
• Work directly with Onshore teams & integration consultants in defining the approach, migration of configuration data into Workday
• Functional Consultant with relevant knowledge and experience of the respective business processes for design and configuration
• Accountable for the development of test scenarios using Workday functional knowledge in Core HCM

Must-Have Certifications

• Workday HCM Core

Experience & Background 

• BE/ B. Tech / M Tech/ MBA/ MCA

• Candidate should have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in IT.

• Minimum of 1 year of current hands-on Workday HCM Area

Required Skills/Experience:

• Understands and ensure security and data privacy standards

• Strong verbal and analytical skills with the ability to write at a publication quality level

• Experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday HCM for global rollouts 

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities

• Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution

• Highly self-motivated and detail oriented Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills 

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Good to have – Data Conversion Experience, exposure to Customer Central, iLoads, EIBs, Migration of functional configuration using Workday tools like Migration Recipe and Advance Loader.

• Good to have – reporting experience

• Understands Workday security domains and how to maintain security on business processes. 

• Understand and follow defined development standards and best practices

• Strong verbal and analytical skills with the ability to write at a publication quality level.

• Good have exposure as a contributor in all phases of Workday implementation
