Assessment Intern

Position: Patent Assessment Intern

Education: B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or related disciplines

Candidate Expectations

• Strong understanding of Organic, Inorganic, and Analytical Chemistry, with basic knowledge of Biotechnology/Biochemistry (preferred), Materials Science, and Polymer Science.
  


• Prior research experience and/or publications will be an added advantage.
  


• Keen interest in patent searching and patent drafting (desk-based role; no laboratory work).
  


• Basic understanding of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), the Indian Patent Act, and the Indian patent filing system, with a genuine interest in building a career in the IPR domain.
  


• Any certification in IPR/Patent Law will be an added advantage.

Requirements

• Must have a personal laptop in good working condition. If unavailable, the candidate should inform the team in advance.
  


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
