Content and SEO Operations (Internship)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Content & SEO Operations Apprentice to support Lumenci’s growing content publishing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who understands the fundamentals of SEO optimization, has an interest in content writing, enjoys coordination-heavy work, and can manage multiple moving pieces across editorial operations, content workflow, and publishing processes. You will work closely with the Content team to ensure the smooth execution of blogs and long-form assets—from ideation to publication—using industry-standard tools like WordPress, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• End-to-End Content Coordination
  
  
  
  • Coordinate the complete content workflow for articles, blogs, and long-form content pieces.
  
  
  • Work on content directives and topic pipelines provided by the Content team.
  
  
  • Maintain and regularly update the content process tracker and editorial calendars.
  
  
  • Ensure process discipline and timely movement of content through the editorial operations pipeline.
  
  
  
  


• SEO & Publishing Support
  
  
  
  • Apply SEO optimization best practices before publication, including:
  
  
  • SEO keyword integration and semantic relevance checks
  
  
  • Optimizing meta titles, descriptions, and header tags (H1–H3)
  
  
  • Implementing internal linking strategies and anchor text recommendations
  
  
  • Conducting content formatting checks for readability and on-page SEO compliance
  
  
  • Utilizing tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar for keyword research, SERP analysis, and backlink tracking
  
  
  • Coordinating with the web team to ensure seamless publishing via WordPress
  
  
  
  

Experience & Skills

• Understanding of core SEO principles and content optimization techniques.


• Familiarity with WordPress content management and basic HTML/CSS for formatting.


• Experience or exposure to SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console.


• Interest in content workflow management and editorial operations.


• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.


• Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to detail and process ownership mindset.


• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, process trackers, and collaborative project tools (e.g., Trello, Asana).

Education & Preferences

• Prior internship or experience in content strategy, SEO, digital marketing, or editorial operations is a plus.


• Familiarity with content workflow tools (e.g., Airtable, Notion) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) is beneficial.
