Graduate Trainee - DevOps, Terraform, Cloud

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information technology/ Electronics & communication / Electrical & Electronics. Should have graduated in 2024/ 2025.

• Strong interest in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and data systems

• Good knowledge on Databases (SQL & NoSQL).

• Good knowledge with Infrastructure as Code is required (Terraform, Terragrunt etc.)

• Automation mindset is non-negotiable: experience with scripting or programming (Python, Go, Bash, etc.)

• Familiarity with GCP or another major cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP)

• Basic understanding of Linux, networking, and distributed systems concepts

• Exposure to CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus

• Comfortable working with Git, code reviews, and collaborative engineering workflows

• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn how real-world production platforms are built and operated

Responsibilities and Duties

• Build, maintain, and improve data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform (or similar)

• Automate provisioning, configuration, and operations of cloud resources and data platforms

• Assist in operating and optimizing data systems (e.g., AlloyDB, Spanner, Big Query, GCS, Dataflow, etc.)

• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and data platform deployments

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for data infrastructure reliability and cost visibility

• Work closely with platform, data, and application teams to enable self-service and scalable platforms

• Write clear documentation and runbooks for systems and automation

• Participate in design reviews, incident analysis, and continuous improvement of platform reliability and efficiency.
