Intern - Animation 2D

Scopely is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Animation generalist - Intern to join our Casino team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis.

The GSN Casino team is home to slots, bingo, cards, and more! Work on incredible games, including a top-10 grossing app, alongside the best in the business. 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Animate 2D UI/Character moments for in-game features, events, and promo popups


• Design cool 2D assets — characters, props, icons, backgrounds


• Turn static art into lively, expressive animations


• Help polish UI transitions and micro-interactions


• Prep clean, organised, animation-ready files


• Jump in on seasonal reskins and live game updates


• Collaborate with Art, Design & Tech teams to ship awesome stuff


• Iterate fast, learn faster

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, squash & stretch, anticipation, etc.)


• Solid fundamentals in drawing, composition, color & lighting


• Someone who enjoys both creating assets and animating them


• Basic understanding of UI/character animation


• Open to feedback and excited to improve


• A team player who thrives in a structured production environment

Tools & Technical Skills

• Proficiency in: Spine / Adobe animate (or similar animation tools) 


• Photoshop (for asset creation)


• Basic understanding of asset optimization for games


• Familiarity with AI-assisted art/animation tools is a plus
