About the Apprenticeship:

GLG is inviting applications for a Legal Apprentice under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). This 6-month apprenticeship is designed to provide structured hands-on practical training in corporate legal operations. The apprentice will be mentored by experienced legal professionals and gain real-world exposure in a supportive environment.

Objectives

• Gain a foundational understanding of corporate legal documentation, including agreements, NDAs, and compliance forms, and support the legal team in such tasks under supervision.


• Assist in legal research related to company law, commercial law, and regulatory frameworks across multiple geographies.
  Learn to organize and manage legal documentation including exposure to contract lifecycle management processes.


• Support the team in the review of vendor contracts, updating legal trackers, and completing entity-related forms under supervision.
  Participate in knowledge sharing sessions within the legal team.


• Collaborate with cross-functional departments, including business and operation teams, during the course of legal training and documentation activities.

Eligibility Criteria:

An ideal candidate will have the following:

• Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) from a reputable law university, with excellent academic achievements.


• Eligible to enroll under NATS (Board of Apprenticeship Training) as a Graduate Apprentice.


• Proficiency in MS Office and adaptive to using new digital tools or platforms.


• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.


• Strong legal research and analytical abilities.


• A willingness to learn, with a proactive and responsible attitude.


• Ability to stay organized, manage tasks efficiently, and maintain confidentiality in handling legal materials.


• Open to collaboration with cross-functional teams and receptive to guidance from mentors.
