Job Description - Intern QA Engineer

Job Title: Intern QA Engineer
Location: Chennai (Work from Office)
Experience: Freshers / Recent Graduates

research. Our team of intelligence experts works on advanced cybersecurity products
and services such as Attack Surface Management (ASM), Vulnerability Intelligence (VI),
Application Security Posture Management (ASPM), Penetration Testing, and
Vulnerability Management.
We help businesses gain visibility into their security risks, stay informed about emerging
threats, and take proactive steps to protect their digital assets.

organizations proactively prioritize risk remediation.

What do we deliver?
Securin acts as an extended security partner to organizations by combining domain
expertise, technology, and services. We help identify vulnerabilities, highlight critical
risks, and support teams in improving their overall security posture.

Role Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and detail -oriented fresh graduates who are interested
in starting their career in Manual Software Testing. You will work closely with
experienced QA engineers, developers, and product teams to ensure the quality and
reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities: 
● Understand business and technical requirements with guidance from senior team
members
● Assist in creating and executing: 
● Test cases
● Test scenarios
● Test plans
● Perform different types of manual testing, such as:
● Functional Testing
● Regression Testing
● Smoke/Sanity Testing
● Basic Integration Testing
● Identify and report bugs using defect tracking tools
● Work with developers and product teams to help resolve issues
● Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
● Help prepare basic test reports and share updates with the team
● Participate in requirement discussions to understand features and functionality

Required Skills & Qualifications: 
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
● Good understanding of software testing concepts and basics of SDLC/STLC
(academic knowledge is sufficient)
● Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
● Good communication and teamwork skills
● Willingness to learn and grow in Manual Testing
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)
● Academic project or internship experience in testing
● Basic knowledge of:
● Test case writing
● Bug tracking tools (Jira/Azure DevOps – academic exposure is fine)
● Agile methodology
● Exposure to web or mobile application testing
● Basic understanding of SQL, APIs
Basic Understanding automation concepts (learning level is acceptable)
