Job Description:

Pratt & Whitney is seeking structural, aero-thermal methods development engineer in our Systems, Data science & Methods team at the Pratt & Whitney India Engineering Center (IEC) in Bengaluru India.

The intern will be responsible for:

• Learn and work with the team in the development of structural, aero-thermal methods for the aero-engine design applications.
• Explore and develop new analytical, automation methods as defined.
• Prepare and maintain documentation.
• Understand the details of milestones, schedules & quality of deliverables.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of mechanical design, aero-thermal processes
• Understanding finite element analysis techniques (Structural, CFD)
• Understanding in any of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, CSS
• Good communication skills and working as a team player
