QA Automation Trainee

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated fresh graduates who are passionate about software quality and automation testing. As a QA Automation Trainee, you will work alongside experienced QA Engineers and Software Developers to build automated test suites and ensure high -quality software delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Learn Software Testing fundamentals (Manual & Automation Testing)
  
• Understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
  
• Learn test case design techniques and defect lifecycle
  
• Gain hands -on experience with automation frameworks
  
• Learn programming fundamentals using Python
  
• Understand Object -Oriented Programming concepts
  
• Learn API testing concepts using Postman
  
• Learn version control using Git
  
• Understand SQL basics for database validation
  
• Work on real -world automation assignments and mini projects
  
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts
  
• Execute manual and automated test cases
  
• Identify, document, and track software defects
  
• Perform regression, functional, smoke, and sanity testing
  
• Validate APIs and backend services
  
• Collaborate with developers to resolve defects
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, and Retrospectives
  
• Maintain test documentation and automation reports
  
• Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes
  

Requirements

• Basic understanding of programming (Java, Python, or C#)
  
• Good knowledge of Object -Oriented Programming concepts
  
• Basic SQL knowledge
  
• Understanding of databases
  
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage
  
• Basic understanding of APIs is desirable
  
• Familiarity with Git is a plus
