QA Engineer Intern

What are we looking for? 

At Checkmarx, we are a Research & Development team responsible for developing Plugins & Integrations that bring the capabilities of CheckmarxOne, our cloud-native AppSec platform to common developer workflows and pipelines (IDEs and CI/CD platforms).

We are looking for an enthusiastic Software Development Engineer in Test with proven experience in manual as well automated testing.

How will you make an impact?​

In this role you will be responsible for:​ 

• Working closely with Product Management, architects, and developers 
• Understanding the business and technical requirements of existing and new products & features. 
• Writing test plans, running manual and automated tests
• Developing new automation tests
• Maintaining & managing existing automation projects
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What is needed to succeed?

• MCA or B.E. in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• 0 to 1 year of SDET experience, including both manual and automated testing.
• Prior knowledge/experience in one of automation testing frameworks: Cypress/Selenium/Playwright – will be a plus.
• Any one of the programming languages for test automation: JS/Golang/Java/Python/C#.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience working in modern Agile methodologies (Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, etc.) – advantage.
• Practical experience with configuration and maintenance of CI environments – advantage
• Able to work independently, self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
• Analytic approach for troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Excellent English communication capabilities (verbal and writing).
