We’re looking for a Backend Engineering Intern who is excited to build scalable systems that power trust, risk, and compliance products used by leading fintechs and enterprises. You’ll work closely with our core engineering team to design, build, and ship production-grade backend services that directly impact customers.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role ideal for someone who wants real startup exposure—not just shadowing.
Build and ship backend features, APIs, and microservices
Write clean, scalable, and testable production code
Work on databases, system design, and performance optimization
Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decisions
Debug, troubleshoot, and improve reliability of services
Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices
Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP
Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java / Python / Node.js / Go or similar)
Understanding of APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and system design basics
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
Problem-solving mindset and bias for action
Curiosity, ownership, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Exposure to microservices or distributed systems
Past internships, projects, or open-source contribution
