1. Role Purpose

To develop technical and operational capabilities through structured on-the-job training, enabling effective contribution to plant operations, equipment reliability, process efficiency, and safe working practices.

2. Key Responsibilities

1. 
   

   Undergo structured technical and on-the-job training to develop an understanding of plant processes, equipment, systems, and departmental operations.

   
   


2. 
   

   Support day-to-day plant operations, maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and equipment inspections under the guidance of experienced engineers and supervisors.

   
   


3. 
   

   Assist in identifying operational issues, analysing equipment or process performance, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

   
   


4. 
   

   Monitor key operational parameters, maintain technical records, and prepare reports to support performance tracking and decision-making.

   
   


5. 
   

   Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, equipment availability, quality, cost optimisation, energy efficiency, and reduction of operational losses.

   
   


6. 
   

   Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, timely resolution of issues, and adherence to departmental targets.

   
   

3. Governance & Compliance

   Adhere to all applicable safety standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), environmental guidelines, statutory requirements, and organizational policies.

   Maintain discipline, documentation accuracy, and compliance with plant protocols while demonstrating ownership, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous learning.
