Trainee - Coding

Job Description

• Proficient in medical terminology with extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS codes

• Strong knowledge in ED – Pro, ED – Pro & Fac Coding and additional knowledge in 

Urgent Care (Office Visits), Observation, ICD-10-PCS coding will be an added advantage

• Having coding certification (AAPC/AHIMA) is an added advantage

• Identify, strategize and deliver effective training programs based on the requirements

• Effective written, verbal, listening and presentation skills 

• Monitoring and tracking all the training programs by measuring the effectiveness of training

• Creating and constantly upgrading the training contents 

• Working with the team to achieve departmental and or organizational objectives and goals

• Constantly upgrading domain knowledge related to coding operations and with recent updates in industry

• Adhering to policies without any deviations

• Facilitating/Delivering leadership trainings by interacting with stakeholders

• Driving compliance trainings i.e. ISMS, HIPAA, POSH etc.

• Problem solving capabilities by being assertive in building relationships, handling conflict with appropriate interpersonal communication skill
