Purpose:

Join Us in Tackling Earth's Biggest Challenges in Climate Tech:

Are you passionate about creating sustainable solutions
for the planet's most pressing issues with  technology? Do you thrive in a dynamic, motivated team environment? If
so, we invite you to join our  Climate
Tech team focused on creating innovative solutions in sustainability and
climate change.

We seek to hire a UI/UX designer
who will work closely with product managers and developers to create  user -friendly designs that simplify complex
climate data and inspire meaningful change.

Job Description

∙ Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration
with product managers ∙ Brainstorm, design, and redesign high -fidelity wireframes and
prototypes for The Council’s  products

∙ Step in the target audience’s shoes and create simple but
visually appealing user experiences ∙ Design graphics, micro -interactions, state transitions, and
animations

∙ Identify UX problems in the developed products and follow up with
developers for  implementation (e.g.
responsiveness)

∙ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and
incorporate feedback with a  quick TAT

∙ Ensure consistency with CEEW’s brand identity while bringing
fresh, innovative ideas  

Skills

∙ Strong visual design and UI/UX principles

∙ Proficiency in Figma

∙ Experience with interaction design and prototyping

∙ Understanding of design systems and component libraries

∙ Strong problem -solving and strategic thinking abilities

∙ Excellent communication and presentation skills

∙ Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices

∙ Ability to balance user needs with business goals

Execution & Collaboration Skills

∙ Ability to interpret and execute instructions with minimal
supervision

∙ Strong ownership mindset with a track record of meeting deadlines

∙ Clear, structured, and timely communication with stakeholders

Eligibility

∙ Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work (preferably for
web interfaces with interactive  prototypes on Figma)

∙ Relevant experience of about 1 year

∙ Relevant design degree or certifications

Compensation

Competitive compensation – commensurate to the experience
and matching the best of standards  adopted by industry or other similar organisations for similar roles.
