Job Description - User Success & Community Intern



Emergent builds autonomous coding agents that replace traditional software development by generating, testing, and deploying production applications directly from plain-language intent. Our systems run in production at global scale and are used to build millions of real applications.


Since public launch, Emergent has reached $50M ARR in 7 months. 5M+ users across 190+ countries have built 6M+ applications on Emergent. We’ve raised $100M, backed by Khosla Ventures, SoftBank, Google, Lightspeed, Prosus, Together, and Y Combinator.


We’re solving the hard part of AI-driven software creation: correctness, reliability, security, and scale in real production systems. The team is built by repeat founders, Olympiad medalists, IIT & IIM alumni, and leaders from Google, Amazon, and Dropbox.

 

We are looking for interns to lead structured conversations with high-performing users on our vibe coding platform. The goal is to uncover strong user stories, document them, and convert them into impactful content and community assets.

Key Responsibilities


1. Lead User Conversations
• Identify and speak with top users on the platform
• Understand: Who they are, What they’ve built, Who they built it for, Why they built it
• Assess their interest in contributing as community educators (live demos, walkthroughs, deconstructs)
2. Capture & Shape Stories
• Record and document calls
• Extract strong narrative angles and proof points
• Work with the internal team to turn conversations into: Testimonials, Case studies, Social posts, Community spotlights
3. Support Community-Led Education - Help onboard selected users as educators, coordinate and support live sessions or cohort-specific walkthroughs


Must-Have Skills


  • Strong communication and listening skills

  • Comfortable leading structured conversations over calls

  • Ability to ask probing questions and uncover meaningful insights

  • Clear written communication

  • Organized and process-oriented (notes, recordings, follow-ups)

  • Basic understanding of online communities


Good to Have


  • Understanding of content formats across Discord, Instagram, YouTube, Linkedin etc.

  • Interest in storytelling, creator economy, or community-building

  • Familiarity with no-code / coding / creator tools
