Video Editor Intern

About the Role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern to join our growing team. This internship offers hands-on experience in creating engaging video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and brand-building initiatives. You will work closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to learn industry best practices while contributing to real projects.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing

• Assist in editing raw footage into engaging videos for social media platforms, website content, and marketing campaigns.


• Add basic transitions, text overlays, subtitles, music, and effects to enhance video quality.


• Support in creating short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms.


• Perform basic video trimming, audio syncing, and formatting.

Content Creation & Collaboration

• Work closely with the Marketing team to understand creative briefs and campaign objectives.


• Repurpose existing content into multiple formats for different platforms.


• Ensure videos align with the brand's visual identity and communication style.


• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and trends.

Asset Management

• Organize and maintain video files, project folders, and creative assets.


• Ensure proper naming conventions and version control for all projects.


• Assist in maintaining a structured content library.

Learning & Innovation

• Stay updated with the latest social media trends, editing techniques, and AI-powered video tools.


• Explore creative formats, transitions, and storytelling techniques to improve engagement.


• Learn and experiment with emerging video editing and content creation technologies.

RequirementsEducation

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Multimedia, Mass Communication, Design, Film Making, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar editing software.


• Familiarity with video editing concepts such as transitions, cuts, audio synchronization, and subtitles.


• Understanding of social media video formats and content trends.


• Exposure to AI-based video editing tools is a plus.

Creative Skills

• Strong interest in video storytelling and content creation.


• Creative mindset with attention to detail.


• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects.


• Understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media content formats.


• Portfolio or sample editing projects (academic, freelance, or personal projects) will be an added advantage.
