Role and Responsibilities:
- Maintain purchasing records and pricing information updated in the system.
- Prepare reports and track the sales demand fluctuation and inventory value.
- Help buyer with day-to-day purchasing tasks.
- Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned.
- Handling and monitoring claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts.
- Support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of project / product.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Responsible for the preparation and process of purchasing orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items by suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.
- Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products.
Contributing your strengths: your qualifications
Qualification and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or similar).
- Verbal communication in Marathi / English/ Hindi.
Experience:
Candidate must complete BE/B.Tech or Graduation in equivalent or similar stream – Mechanical/electrical.
Preferred Skills / Special Skills:
- Must have knowledge about manufacturing operations.
- India taxation overview (GST, export benefits etc.)
- Must have knowledge about MS office (Excel, Word, Power point etc.)
- Knowledge about BAAN software will be preferred.
- Awareness of ISO and Industrial Norms.
