Remote Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and resourceful Remote Accountant to join our team at Amazon India in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This is a part-time entry-level position that requires at least 1 year of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities: - Managing financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries - Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements - Analyzing financial data to support decision-making and strategic planning - Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes - Ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting standards - Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting - Utilizing accounting software and other financial tools effectively - Providing financial guidance and support to the team

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA or equivalent certification preferred - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Emotional intelligence and creativity - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
