Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and resourceful Accountant to join our team at Vedanta Resources Limited in Kolkata, West Bengal. As an Entry Level Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the finance department in various accounting tasks. This is a part-time position requiring at least 1 year of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements and reports - Assist with budget preparation and tracking - Reconcile bank statements and accounts - Process invoices and expense reports - Assist with payroll processing - Perform financial analysis and assist with forecasting - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Liaise with internal and external auditors - Adhere to accounting principles and regulations

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 1+ years of experience in accounting - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment - Detail-oriented and organized
