Remote Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

Housejoy is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Remote Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team in Kolkata, West Bengal, IN. As a part-time member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process for our company.

Responsibilities: - Process and post customer payments - Reconcile customer accounts - Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies - Generate and send out invoices - Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers - Prepare reports on accounts receivable status - Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments - Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks

Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field - Strong understanding of accounting principles - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines - Adaptable and dedicated personality traits - Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work - Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with team members
