Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

Zoomcar is seeking a passionate and driven Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As an Associate Level position, we are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Generate and send out invoices to customers - Follow up on outstanding payments - Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date - Reconcile payments and resolve any discrepancies - Update and maintain customer records - Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting - Assist with month-end closing processes

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Creativity in problem-solving and process improvement - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently - Proficient in MS Office and accounting software

Soft Skills: - Creativity in finding solutions to payment issues - People management skills when interacting with customers and colleagues
