Accounts Receivable

Job Description: As an Accounts Receivable at Vedantu, your primary responsibility will be managing the company's accounts receivable process. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, following up on outstanding payments, and reconciling accounts. Additionally, you will work closely with the finance team to analyze and report on the company's receivables.

Responsibilities: - Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner - Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any discrepancies - Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records - Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve collections - Analyze account receivables data and generate reports for management - Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries related to billing and payments - Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes - Help in preparing financial statements and reports for audits

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field - 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Emotional intelligence and the ability to handle difficult conversations with customers - Proven analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data
