Job Description - Office Manager - Work from home

Job Description:


Flipkart is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Office Manager to work remotely from home in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, IN. As an Associate level Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office and providing support to various departments within the company.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure a functional and efficient work environment. 2. Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for senior management. 3. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail. 4. Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including coordinating training sessions and orientation programs. 5. Maintain and update employee records, payroll information, and other administrative documents. 6. Act as a point of contact for employees regarding office policies, procedures, and general inquiries. 7. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. 8. Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as processing invoices and expense reports. 9. Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in office management or related field. 2. Strong organizational and time-management skills. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 5. Passionate about creating a positive and productive work environment. 6. Strong negotiation skills and emotional intelligence. 7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office management software. 8. Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
