Operations Manager

Job Description:

Ola Cabs is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As a part-time Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and streamline processes. 2. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. 3. Manage a team of operations staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. 4. Coordinate with other departments such as marketing, customer service, and finance to ensure seamless operations. 5. Handle escalated customer issues and provide timely resolutions to maintain customer satisfaction. 6. Create and maintain operational reports to track performance and make data-driven decisions. 7. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations. 8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and quality.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. 2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the transportation industry. 3. Proven track record of leadership and team management skills. 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. 7. Resourceful and hardworking with a strong work ethic. 8. A team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
