Chat Support Officer - Remote Work

Job Description:

As a Chat Support Officer at Pepperfry, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service through online chat support. You will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance or information about our products and services. This is a remote work position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner through online chat. 2. Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide accurate information about products and services. 3. Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and returns. 4. Demonstrate a strong understanding of our products and be able to provide recommendations based on customer needs. 5. Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex customer issues. 6. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through timely and effective communication. 7. Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 8. Uphold Pepperfry's customer service standards and policies. 9. Provide feedback to the team on ways to improve the customer experience.

Requirements: 1. 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Confident and reliable personality traits. 3. Strong presentation and planning skills. 4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 5. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 6. Proficiency in using chat support tools and software. 7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 9. Flexibility to work part-time hours.
