Job Description - Chat Support Manager

Job Description:


We are looking for a Chat Support Manager to join our team at Freshworks in Kolkata, West Bengal, IN. As a part-time position with a seniority level of mid-to-senior, we require someone with at least 6 years of experience in the industry.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage and oversee the chat support team to ensure high-quality customer service is provided to our clients. 2. Develop and implement strategies to improve chat support efficiency and effectiveness. 3. Monitor chat support metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive performance. 4. Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in providing exceptional chat support. 5. Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and feedback received through the chat support channel. 6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in chat support to continuously improve our processes. 7. Handle escalated customer inquiries or issues that require managerial intervention.


Requirements: 1. Resourceful and resilient personality traits to effectively manage a fast-paced chat support environment. 2. Strong teamwork and adaptability skills to work collaboratively with team members and adapt to changing circumstances. 3. Experience in a chat support or customer service role for at least 6 years. 4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and team members. 5. Proven leadership abilities to guide and motivate a team to achieve shared goals. 6. Proficiency in using chat support tools and software to effectively manage customer interactions. 7. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
