Job Description - Contact Center Associate - Work from home

Job Description:


Policybazaar is looking for a Contact Center Associate to work from home in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or contact center role. The Contact Center Associate will be responsible for handling incoming calls, emails, and chat inquiries from customers regarding insurance products and services.


Responsibilities: 1. Answering incoming calls, emails, and chat inquiries from customers in a professional and courteous manner. 2. Providing information about insurance products, services, and policies to customers. 3. Assisting customers with policy renewals, claims processing, and billing inquiries. 4. Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and efficient manner. 5. Upselling and cross-selling insurance products to customers based on their needs and preferences. 6. Documenting customer interactions and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the company's CRM system. 7. Collaborating with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs. 8. Participating in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.


Requirements: 1. 2+ years of experience in a customer service or contact center role. 2. Resilient and reliable personality traits. 3. Strong persuasion and strategic planning skills. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. 7. High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
