Job Description - Contact Center Officer

Job Description:


Tata Steel is seeking a passionate and driven Contact Center Officer to join our team in Kolkata, West Bengal. As an Associate Level employee with at least 4 years of experience, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through various communication channels.


Responsibilities: 1. Answer and respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat 2. Resolve customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions in a timely manner 3. Maintain a high level of knowledge about company products and services 4. Document and update customer records accurately 5. Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex customer issues 6. Meet and exceed customer satisfaction goals and targets 7. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the customer experience


Requirements: 1. Proven experience in a customer service or contact center role 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 3. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities 4. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment 5. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software 6. High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred
