Job Description - Customer Care Officer

Job Description:


FirstCry, a leading baby and kids products retailer, is seeking a dedicated and independent Customer Care Officer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This part-time entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in customer service.


Responsibilities: 1. Interact with customers via phone, email, and live chat to provide assistance with orders, product inquiries, and general customer service issues. 2. Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner, escalating complex issues to the appropriate departments when necessary. 3. Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies. 4. Assist customers with navigating the FirstCry website and mobile app, providing troubleshooting support as needed. 5. Collaborate with other departments such as logistics and marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience. 6. Utilize creativity and innovation to suggest improvements to customer service processes and procedures.


Requirements: 1. Strong communication skills in English and Tamil. 2. Ability to work independently and handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously. 3. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. 4. No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. 5. Creativity and innovation in finding solutions to customer issues.
