Job Description:

IBM India is seeking a Remote Customer Support Assistant to join our team in Kolkata, West Bengal. This part-time position is ideal for entry-level professionals who are hardworking, adaptable, and eager to learn. As a Customer Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat. Your primary goal will be to exceed customer expectations and deliver delight in every interaction.

Responsibilities: - Responding promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat - Resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner - Providing product information and technical support to customers - Escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate department - Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Collaborating with team members to improve customer service processes - Researching and staying up-to-date on product knowledge - Ensuring customer satisfaction and retention

Requirements: - Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in using customer service software and computer applications - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Previous experience in customer service is a plus but not required - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
