Job Description - Customer Support Officer

Job Description:


Zomato is seeking a part-time Customer Support Officer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in customer support or a related field. We are looking for individuals who are confident, hardworking, possess strong project management skills, and have a knack for critical thinking.


Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide support via phone, email, and chat - Resolve customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner - Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer issues are addressed promptly - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate team members - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies - Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve customer satisfaction and retention


Requirements: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer support or a related field - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities - Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service - Proficiency in MS Office and customer support software - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
