Online Account Support Assistant

Tata Steel is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Online Account Support Assistant to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This is a part-time entry-level position ideal for individuals who are resourceful, energetic, innovative, and possess critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities: 1. Assist customers with account-related inquiries via online communication channels such as email, chat, and social media. 2. Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries and issues. 3. Maintain customer account information and update databases as needed. 4. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. 5. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas for enhancing the online account support process. 6. Handle escalated customer issues and provide solutions in a professional and courteous manner. 7. Stay up-to-date on company policies, products, and services to effectively assist customers.

Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 3. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. 4. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and online communication tools. 5. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment. 6. Previous customer service experience is a plus but not required.
