Job Description:
Dell Technologies India is seeking a part-time Online Support Specialist to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities: 1. Provide online customer support via chat, email, and phone, addressing customer inquiries and technical issues. 2. Troubleshoot software and hardware problems and provide solutions to customers. 3. Assist customers in navigating the company's website and online resources. 4. Collaborate with other support specialists and technical teams to resolve more complex issues. 5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow up on any unresolved issues. 6. Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate teams for resolution. 7. Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers. 8. Adhere to company guidelines and procedures for quality customer service.
Requirements: 1. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities. 2. Resilience: Ability to handle difficult customers and challenging situations with professionalism. 3. Time management: Efficiently prioritize tasks and manage workload to meet deadlines. 4. People management: Ability to effectively communicate and engage with customers to resolve issues. 5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 6. Strong technical skills and familiarity with computer software and hardware. 7. Customer service experience is preferred. 8. Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
