Job Description:
As a Support Specialist at IBM India, you will be responsible for providing remote technical support to clients in a timely and efficient manner. Your primary duties will include troubleshooting technical issues, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving problems through phone, email, or chat support. You will also be responsible for documenting customer interactions and escalating issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
Responsibilities: - Provide remote technical support to clients with hardware and software issues - Troubleshoot technical problems and provide solutions - Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat - Document customer interactions and update records in the system - Escalate issues to the appropriate teams for resolution - Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and efficiency - Adhere to service level agreements and quality standards - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients effectively - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Adaptable and confident in a fast-paced environment - Willingness to learn and grow in a rapidly evolving industry - Previous customer service experience is a plus - Basic knowledge of IT systems and software
