Remote Communications Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for a Remote Communications Specialist to join our team at Flipkart. As a part-time Associate Level Remote Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all external communications for our company. This role will be based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and will require at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the company's brand and reputation. - Write and edit content for press releases, articles, newsletters, and social media posts. - Manage relationships with media outlets and journalists to increase the company's visibility. - Organize and coordinate events, press conferences, and other communication activities. - Monitor and analyze media coverage to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communication.

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. - Hardworking and resourceful personality traits. - Emotional intelligence and negotiation skills as soft skills. - Previous experience in public relations, journalism, or corporate communications. - Ability to work part-time and remotely from Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
