Qualification

• MS/DNB Ophthalmology

• Fellowship in Medical Retina – Mandatory

Registration

• Valid UPMC / State Medical Council Registration

Experience

• Experienced candidates preferred

• Candidates should be capable of independently managing Medical Retina OPD and retinal procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Medical Retina OPD consultations

• Diagnose and manage diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), retinal vein occlusion, and other retinal disorders

• Perform OCT interpretation, Fundus Evaluation, FFA interpretation, and Intravitreal Injections

• Provide laser treatment for retinal diseases as per expertise

• Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and coordinate with the ophthalmology team

• Strong clinical expertise in Medical Retina

• Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills

• Good communication and patient counselling abilities

• Professional, ethical, and patient-centric approach

• Ability to work independently in an eye care setup
