Designer Manual & Document Layout (Contract)

Role Overview

The designer will be responsible for structuring, formatting, and designing a comprehensive manual based on content provided by our internal team. While our team will compile and organize the information, the designer will ensure the final manual is visually appealing, brand-aligned, and easy to navigate.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and format manuals, guides, and other documents using brand guidelines.
• Develop layouts that enhance readability and user experience.
• Collaborate with the internal team (marketing, operations, real estate, leadership) to understand design needs.
• Incorporate visuals, icons, and graphics to support the content.
• Ensure consistency in fonts, colors, and overall design style.
• Deliver print-ready and digital-friendly versions of the manual.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in graphic design, document layout, or publication design.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or Canva.
• Strong eye for typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience designing manuals, handbooks, reports, or corporate documents preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Contract Details

• Freelance, hourly-based contract.
• Flexible work schedule to align with internal content readiness.
• Duration: Until project completion (with potential for future creative projects).
