Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned French lessons to Primary (PRT) and Middle (TGT) grade students in a classroom setting.


• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet learner needs, leveraging interactive methods and digital tools to boost language retention.


• Assess student progress through formative evaluations, quizzes, and oral assessments, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.


• Collaborate with school coordinators and academic teams to align teaching with institutional goals and exam standards (CBSE/ICSE/state boards).


• Maintain classroom discipline, safety, and a positive, immersive French-speaking environment for students.


• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and curriculum review sessions as required.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have

• Fluent in spoken and written French (DELFI B2/C1 or equivalent certification preferred)


• Proficient in teaching methodologies for PRT & TGT age groups


• Experience with CBSE/ICSE/state board curriculum frameworks


• Ability to use digital tools (Google Classroom, Zoom, Kahoot) for interactive lessons


• Valid teaching certification (B.Ed / D.Ed) or equivalent qualification


• Background check clearance and police verification (as per school norms)

Preferred

• Teaching experience in international or bilingual schools


• DELFI C1 or DALF certification


• Experience teaching French as a Second Language (FLE)
