The role

We currently have opportunities for qualified IT operation to join our team as IT Staff based in the Freeport Indonesia - located in the Papua Province, Indonesia.

The opportunity is well suited for those with strong IT technical support experience.

You will be a key member of an established team and drive the reliability and availability of the underground mining fleet while supporting a zero-harm safety culture.

The opportunity will see you:

Supervise and lead a team of IT technicians and support staff.

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networking systems

Provide technical support and guidance to employees regarding IT issues and inquiries.

Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security and integrity of company data and systems

Manage IT projects, including planning, budgeting, and coordination with other departments

Evaluate the performance of IT systems and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary.

Stay informed about advancements in technology and assess their potential impact on the organization.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers to procure IT equipment and services.

Conduct regular training sessions for employees to enhance their IT skills and knowledge.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT operations and security

Create database investment related to IT Project.

Your profile

To be successful in this position you must be trade qualified or have similar qualifications disciplined in IT Background.

You will have extensive experience in a similar role in the underground mining industry with a minimum of 3 years’
