Graphic Designer

Job Overview:
As a graphic designer, you will be responsible for creating visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. You will develop the overall layout and production design for various applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines, corporate reports, websites, and more. Your creativity, attention to detail, and proficiency in design software will be crucial in meeting project requirements and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with clients or art directors to determine the scope of a project.
2. Use digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software to create designs.
3. Create visual elements such as logos, original images, and illustrations.
4. Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites.
5. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.
6. Prepare rough drafts of material based on an agreed-upon brief.
7. Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
8. Amend designs after feedback and approval.
9. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
10. Maintain awareness of current industry trends and best practices in graphic design.
11. Collaborate with copywriters, photographers, printers, and other professionals to complete projects.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
2. Proven graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
3. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
4. Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual communication principles.
5. Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
8. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
9. Knowledge of web design principles and experience with web design software is a plus.
10. Experience with motion graphics or video editing software is desirable but not required.
