Job Description - Cardiothoracic Registrar

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We are hiring an Cardiothoracic Registrar to a leading Hospital in Dublin.Ireland.

Responsibilities

To assist the cardiothoracic consultant in their work and to function under their supervision.

To admit patients

To accompany the Cardio Thoracic team on daily ward rounds.

Turn over patients from the previous shift to the registrar so that judgments may be made right away and orders can be written, ensuring continuity of care.

To regularly assess patients in compliance with the treatment plan established at the start of the shift and report any concerns or difficulties to the doctor.

Review results should be promptly and clearly documented in clinical notes.

To do the tasks assigned in the operating room.

To address any negative events that patients, guests, or employees may experience, such as accidents, falls, unexpected diseases, etc.

Requirements

MRCS or a comparable program.

Full Irish Medical Council registration as of right now.

It is preferable to be an RCSI member.

At least one year of experience as a registrar in an acute hospital setting.

A current ACLS certification is necessary.

Demonstrated capacity to contribute effectively to a team.

The capacity for successful communication.
