Goods In Operative - Temporary Full Time (6 Months)

Applications are invited for the position of Goods In Operative with Williams Gate Master Victualler, Liosbaun Industrial Estate, Galway, on a temporary full-time basis for 6 months.

Role and Responsibilities:

·        Manage the receipt of all incoming goods, utilising in-house computer system

·        Flexibility to multitask and work within the role including working in Chilled & Frozen area’s

·        Accuracy and attention to deal is a key requirement

·        Stock control duties – Rotation & Stocktakes

·        Process stock returns, damaged stock and out of date products

·        Maintaining the area and keeping it clean and tidy

·        Assisting customers

·        Ensuring all required paperwork and administration is completed and up to date

·        Ensuring compliance with all Food Safety, Health & Safety and Security requirements

·        Other associated duties as requested by your manager

·        Good organisational and time management abilities

·        Be a highly motivated individual, who takes initiative with minimal supervision

·        Be dedicated and flexible

·        Have experience working in a warehouse and/or goods-in environment

·        Have Reach and Counterbalance forklift driving experience and hold an up-to-date operator’s certificate preferred but not essential

• A professional approach to their work and dealing with colleagues, management, and business partners

• The ability to work with and adhere to standard operating procedures

• A strong awareness of health and safety & food safety requirements
