Locum MRI Radiographer

The business operates diagnostic imaging and minor injuries centres' around the country, offering a broad range of cutting-edge imaging technology and healthcare services to the public, insurers, employers and other organisations.

We are seeking experienced Locum MRI Radiographers for our Dublin Clinics responsible for the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a safe and compliant MRI environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and assess routine and complex MRI scans with a focus on image quality and patient safety.

• Use clinical judgment to differentiate between normal and pathological findings and optimize scan parameters accordingly.

• Ensure MRI safety compliance, including SAR and RF deposition guidelines.

• Manage equipment operations, scheduling, maintenance, and reporting of technical issues

• Maintain patient-centered care, ensuring informed consent and comfort throughout the scanning process.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure informed patient consent
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc in Diagnostic Imaging or equivalent recognized qualification.

• CORU Registration (mandatory).

• 3-5+ years post-graduation experience in MRI

Qualifications:

• BSc in Diagnostic Imaging or equivalent recognized qualification.

• Active CORU registration.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years post-graduation experience in MRI (5+ years preferred), with demonstrated expertise in both routine and complex scanning procedures.
