Job Title: Agency Nurses Required – St Lukes Hospital Kilkenny

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, monitoring their condition, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

The ideal candidates should have excellent communication skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

We are currently recruiting Registered Nurses for exciting agency opportunities in St Lukes Hospital Kilkenny, across a variety of specialist areas including:

• General Wards

• Emergency Department (ED)

• Paediatrics

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic hospital environment while enjoying flexibility and strong support.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care

• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Adhere to infection control, safety, and clinical guidelines

• Respond effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments (especially ED)

Requirements:

• Valid NMBI registration

• Minimum 6 months recent clinical experience

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Up-to-date Mandatory training. Direct Medics can provide in house Basic Life Support (BLS) and Manual Handling training

• Access to own transport is an advantage but not essential
