Accountant - Remote Work

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a remote Accountant to join our team at Etsy Ireland. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all tax regulations. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, allowing you to balance work and personal commitments effectively.

Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll - Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data - Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements - Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes - Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance - Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met - Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field - Proven experience with financial software and spreadsheets - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Independent and driven personality traits - Experience in people management is preferred - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment - CPA certification is a plus
