Finance Accountant

About the role

You will be responsible for:

• Performing day-to-day operations according to the assigned tasks.
• Resolving standard and non-standard queries and issues related to relevant processes.
• Ensuring daily operations are carried out according to targets and deadlines, in compliance with corporate policies and local work instructions.
• Month-end closing activities including reconciliation of intercompany balances between business units, accounts reconciliation, analysis of the data and explanations of the movements, preparation of the monthly reporting.
• Acting as primary point of contact for the local business and for any shared service centre queries from a finance perspective.
• Communicating and cooperating with the team members in local business unit departments as well Share Services Centre team.
• Maintain high quality of relevant process documentation (process maps, procedures)
• Support migration of accounting processes from local business to the Shared Service Centre (if necessary)

About you

• Work experience as a Finance Assistant, Finance Officer, or similar role.
• Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
• Good MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
• Familiarity with accounting software
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
