Job Description

About The Role

The role holder will be part of a worldwide centralised team in Dublin servicing all PartnerRe locations across the world. Primary responsibilities include:

• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  • Daily processing of invoices for all worldwide locations within the centralized Global team ensuring accurate processing, matching and coding of all invoices including multi-jurisdictional VAT treatment.
  • Review of vendor and payment details to ensure consistency.
  • Preparing and running pay-cycles
  • Travel & Entertainment expense management, audit & reconciliation.
  • Assist with VAT filings
  • Ensuring approval listings are kept up to date
  • Ensuring compliance with SOX controls.

 

• Treasury Operations:
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to compile and analyse global cash flows across multiple currencies and internal company business units. Maintain a rolling cash-flow forecast to project funding requirements.
  • Evaluate available funding levels and recommend funds transfers needed. Execute cash transactions or intercompany settlements as approved.
  • Collaborate in managing all bank account signatories and mandates.
  • Managing Letter of Collateral issuance and related collateral management.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate is a very good communicator, highly organized and capable of working in an international and culturally diverse environment, with a high degree of autonomy.
• 1-2 years in a similar role or a similarly adaptable skillset.
• Fluency in English. A working knowledge of German and/or French would be an advantage .
• Detailed oriented, takes great pride in delivering high quality of work within predetermined deadlines.
• Flexible with a positive attitude.
