Team Overview: Joining the Payroll Operations team, you'll be part of a dynamic group responsible for managing payroll activities across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Operating within a global payroll structure, this role offers exposure to international operations and ample opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Position Overview: As a Payroll Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in coordinating and executing pre-payroll and payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll and remuneration to associates. Reporting to the Payroll Delivery Manager, you'll collaborate closely with various teams including Total Rewards Operations, Mobility, Equity, Payroll Accounting, and strategic partners.
Responsibilities: - Ensure accurate and timely delivery of payroll to associates, including data preparation and submission to payroll vendors within agreed deadlines.
- Review payroll vendor calculations, ensuring accuracy, conducting variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with company controls and local regulations.
- Coordinate with local in-country payroll partners to ensure proper taxation and filing according to local regulations.
- Collaborate with accounting partners on required reports and support for the accounting process.
- Execute salary banking processes according to local requirements.
- Address payroll queries escalated from HR Operations teams and employees, including Tier 2 payroll cases.
- Respond to queries from internal and external auditors and vendors regarding payroll processes.
- Contribute to metrics and reporting processes for tracking and monitoring payroll delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements: - Minimum 3 years of payroll experience in a multinational Finance or HR environment.
- Strong understanding of payroll taxes and social security regulations.
- Attention to detail and a drive for process efficiency.
- Cultural awareness and proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or Finance preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with Workday is a plus.
- Strong customer service principles.
- Fluency in an additional language is advantageous.
