Actuarial Services is a specialist team operating within the Actuarial & Finance function of New Ireland. We provide expert technical and actuarial support to the wider New Ireland business and routinely interact across 25+ departments. Our regular day to day work is varied and includes calculations on Non-Disclosure impacts, Legal and Complaint cases, Pension Adjustment Orders, Exit Tax breakdowns and Death Claims. We also carry out a range of small and mid-sized remediation tasks to ensure policyholders are put in the correct position where an error has occurred. Our remit further extends to the completion of work for regulatory items such as Policy Reviews, Annual Benefit Statements and CPC or Central Bank notified issues.
You will provide a professional service to internal New Ireland teams while managing expectations and meeting Service Level Agreements.
The successful candidate will work alongside other trainee actuaries and subject matter experts to provide an excellent service experience to internal teams. You will have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the Wealth & Insurance product suite, interact regularly with a large number of teams across the business and will be well placed to progress your career within New Ireland or the wider Group

Honours Degree in Actuarial/Financial Mathematics (or similar field) or progression in the professional actuarial exams.
